Lake City Colorado Wedding

Emily grew up visiting Lake City her whole life with her parents, so she decided to have her wedding here and share this place that’s special to her with her new husband, Peter, and the rest of his family. Emily got ready at her parents’ cabin and had a first look with Pete at the little island in the lake in the middle of Lake City. After their first look, the two of them had a super quick ceremony on Emily’s dad’s property where they had family officiate with a runner and ceremony spot lined with drop dead gorgeous floral arrangements created by Emily’s step mother. After the ceremony and having a drink with all their guests, everybody headed to a local BBQ place in town for a backyard reception at the local eatery. Every detail of the day from the florals, the cabin they got ready at, to the ceremony spot were all filled with places and details that were created by family and sentimental. The day was made so special by all the people closest to Pete and Emily, which made it so much more memorable to everyone involved.
