Patricia and Tim are from San Francisco, but Tim used to do research at RMBL in Gothic, so he’s very familiar with the area. The two have visited his old stomping grounds before, and decided it would be a meaningful place for them to elope. Patricia and Tim are very introverted and private people, so they decided they wanted to elope without anyone else around, and keep their elopement a secret from friends and family until after they were back in SF. The two decided to turn their elopement into a roadtrip where they stopped at Black Canyon of the Gunnison and Bryce Canyon in addition to Crested Butte, with the highlight of their trip being their elopement at a beautiful alpine lake. After we drove up a bumpy backroad, we arrived at their ceremony spot. After the two said their vows, we walked around the lake for a little cake cutting and a snack. We sat and took in the views for a bit before heading back dow the mountain to explore for a few more photos.
