Rainy Fall Elopement at Bridal Veil Falls

Hyrum and Charis make a trip every year to visit somewhere in southwest Colorado to see the leaves in the fall. so they decided to do the same thing, but get married this time around. They packed up all their stuff, loaded their son in the car, and drove down from Denver for the weekend to say their vows at the base of Bridal Veil falls. Unfortunately, this particular fall was very rainy, so the weather turned moody and wet for the day, but that didn’t stop Charis and Hyrum from making the most of their wedding day. We started bright and early at sunrise to avoid the crowds, and the two did a little first look with each other and their son before heading to the base of the falls for their vows. The two said their teary vows and exchanged rings while getting soaked in between. The shared a local wine to celebrate, took in the view, and headed to the ski mountain for a few more photos. We got in a little bit more photos before the rain rolled back in and soaked us again.
