September Elopement in the San Juans

Kylie and Justin are more on the introverted side, and they have families with big personalities, so they didn’t want to have a big wedding and have to manage their big families or travel back to their home states to have a wedding, so they decided to elope in a quiet corner of southwest Colorado. The two decided to stay in Silverton, and say their vows on a nearby hike. The two traversed the short trail to where they planned on saying their vows, packing up all their ceremony details and crossing a little river. The two played a game of cribbage to decide who would go first, and then said sweet personal vows next to a bright blue river. After their vows, we explored the area a bit, and then headed out to meet their family at another location for some more general vows, inclusion of their pup, and for Kylie to be walked down the “aisle” by her dad. Kylie and Justin kissed their parents, ate cake, drank champagne, and took in the vast views of the alpine lake as the sun set to end their day.
