Simple Elopement at the Maroon Bells

Raven and Kaleb wanted to get married at the Maroon Bells with all their friends and family present, but Raven unexpectedly got pregnant (!) so they moved their plans around to accommodate the new baby they were now expecting. We moved their wedding date to earlier in the summer, and they eloped with just the two of them and their daughter. We woke up bright and early to catch the alpenglow of the sunrise, and the weather did not disappoint. Raven and Kaleb said their vows in the early morning light, and just as they were finishing, the sun started to rise on the Maroon Bells. We took photos and wandered the meadow while the mountains started to turn bright orange. After the sun rose, we headed out to grab some coffee, and then went to another location to read letters from friends and family. After some teary, sweet words from loved ones, the sun finally fully rose over the mountains and we sat in the golden morning light.
